Faith into Action

May be an image of 8 people

Our wonderful Catholic Social Teaching representatives spent a truly inspiring day with Sister Judith Russi. Together, they explored how we can live out our faith by putting love into action in our school and wider community.

We were incredibly proud of our children — they spoke with such clarity, confidence, and deep-rooted faith. Their ideas were thoughtful, compassionate, and full of hope. What a joy to witness their passion for making a difference!

Well done, children! We can't wait to see your action plan come to life and the positive impact it will bring.

Loving God,

Help us to be your hands and feet in the world.

Guide our hearts to serve with kindness,

Speak with wisdom,

And act with love.

May our faith shine brightly in all we do.

Amen.

Saint Gabriel the Archangel Multi Academy Trust Launch Mass

On 29th September we joined thousands of pupils, staff, and families across 63 schools to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in our Catholic journey. As one united family of faith, we came together to welcome the launch of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust.

With hearts full of joy and hope, we prayed as one community and embraced the promise of growing together in faith, learning, and love.

“Forming Christ-centred pilgrims of hope with kind hearts, questioning minds, a thirst for knowledge and a hunger for justice.”

One million children praying the Rosary

As a school, we proudly joined the One Million Children Praying the Rosary initiative, led by our dedicated Chaplaincy Team.

Together, we gathered in prayer, uniting with children across the world to ask for peace unity and hope.

It was a beautiful moment of faith and community, reminding us of the power of prayer and the love we share through Mary and Jesus.

Creation Day and Year 1 & 2 Saint's day

On creation day, year 1 and 2 lead a beautiful prayer service for their class saint, St Francis of Assisi. They reminded us that Saint Francis is the patron saint of animals, traders, and the world around us. Francis was born in Assisi, Italy, a very long time ago. His family had a lot of money. One day, Francis got very sick and thought a lot about his life. When he felt better, he went on a special trip to Rome to pray. On the way, he saw many poor people who had no money or food. When Francis came home, he chose to live like a poor man and wore simple clothes. Francis listened to what God told him to do. Francis is remembered because he cared a lot about animals and nature. He called animals his “brothers” and “sisters”. He believed that God made all living things. We are now God's stewards of creation and we are called to be like Saint Francis - what a wonderful class saint.

Harvest festival

As a school, we gathered together for our Harvest festival. We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our school community. All donations are going to the Stoke-on-Trent food bank. Jesus calls us to help those in need - thank you for joining us in our mission.
