Good Morning Year 3 and 4!

It is week 4 of our fantastic fun filled summer term! I do hope you have had a wonderful week and an even better weekend. The weather has been a little “hit and miss” over the past few days, but please do not fear we have some wonderful activities to level things out this week, and hopefully the weather will improve for you too!

As always (you could probably tell me this by now!) you have three activities that will support you towards your next Big Write on writing a persuasive letter and two inference activities based upon our fantastic class text. You do have the PowerPoint for the LBQ Math’s tasks for each day for anything that may be new or challenging learning. Remember, if you are still having difficulty with a task or you feel you require further maths support, then please do contact us and we can range as much support as is needed.

This week, a PowerPoint is included for Science, Art, History and R.E. whilst the tasks for French, Computing, Music and PHSE can, as always, be completed independently.

I hope that with the mixed weather we have had, you have still managed to get outside and exercise.  On the days where you do go outside with a responsible adult, as always, make sure you are two metres apart from anyone else you come into contact with.

Over the last week and the next, we have been and will be phoning, mummies and daddies to check that you are all getting on ok at home. If we haven’t been able to get in touch with you, and if yourselves or your mummies and daddies would like to have a conversation with us, please email and we can arrange a time to talk. If you have had a conversation with us but would like another one, please do email and we can arrange a chat!

Please do keep sending your work in for a chance to be included on the school website or (if your work is extra special) on the celebration newsletter! The work that we receive really does make Mrs. Harvey-Oates and myself so proud of you and grateful for the work you have shared.

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to…

Henry who is 8 years old on Monday 26 June

Have a lovely day!

As ever, if there is anything else that either you or your mummies and daddies need help with including further support or just a conversation, please do get in contact with me.

We cannot express how proud we are of your patience, hard work and creativity whilst you have been at home and cannot wait to tell you in person when we see you all again.

Keep on working hard, keep on being patient and keep on shining.

                                                Mrs. Catalano and Mrs. Harvey-Oates
