Easter Activities

Dear our lovely Year 1 and 2 children!

I can’t believe we are at the Easter holidays! We miss you all so very much and we hope you are all making the most of this unusual time. We are so proud of you and can’t wait until we are all back together.

I know we haven’t had the usual build up to Easter but it is very important to remember this very special time. We began Holy Week on with Palm Sunday yesterday, so this week please spend some time reflecting on the special events that Jesus faced in the last week of his life. Remember that Jesus is always listening to your prayers so use your free time to grow closer to Jesus and show thanks for the sacrifice He made for all of us.

Some work has been uploaded to keep you busy over the next 2 weeks, you will find some Holy Week work and some Easter activities and crafts to enjoy. There are also some Easter card ideas and some templates so you can treat your family to a lovely card to cheer them up. There is also an Easter egg to design, we would love to see all of your lovely creative designs J

Well done for all of your hard work so far, myself and Mrs Clewes are enjoying hearing and seeing all about your hard work. Well done to Orla who has written a letter to cheer up the elderly, Kieran who is enjoying learning all about the Titanic and Ava who has done some great science work. It really is lovely seeing your work so keep it all coming and email us which will help to develop your word processing skills too!

Well done to everyone who has worked hard on the MyMaths activities. I have logged on to see your great work and I have added a little message so look out from them.

I would like to wish Ella the happiest birthday for the 16th April. I know your family will make it very special and you will have a great day celebrating.

Try to keep reading as much as you can and continue spending quality with your families at this special time.

Take care and remember that we are always here for you so email if you need support or help with anything.

Enjoy your Easter break. I wish you a Holy and peaceful Easter, you will all be in our prayers.
